The 1783-SFP1GSX is a Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver module. It is a “hot-swappable” input/output device that plugs into the SFP slots of Allen-Bradley Stratix managed switches (such as the Stratix 5700, 5400, or 8000).
The “1GSX” designation indicates it is a 1 Gigabit module designed for Short-wavelength multi-mode fiber.
