The 1783-ETAP2F is a high-performance communication module designed to integrate single-port EtherNet/IP devices into a Device Level Ring (DLR) using Fiber Optic cabling.
While the standard ETAP uses copper, the “2F” indicates that both ports of the network ring are Fiber, making it the ideal solution for connecting distant machines or devices in environments with extreme electrical noise (EMI).
