The 1783-CMS20DP belongs to the Stratix 5200 family, which is the successor to the popular Stratix 5700. It is a high-density, DIN-rail mounted managed switch that leverages CiscoÕs IOS-XE technology.
Unlike the rack-mount Stratix 5410 switches (like the CMS10DP), this is a compact unit designed for control cabinets. The “DP” suffix indicates Full Firmware with support for high-performance redundancy like DLR (Device Level Ring) and IEEE 1588 PTP.
