The 1783-CMS10DP is the flagship 10-port model of the Stratix 5410 family. While it shares the 19-inch rack-mount form factor and Layer 3 Routing capabilities of the “DN” version, the “P” in the suffix indicates it is equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE).
This switch is designed for industrial “Core” or “Distribution” layers where you need to route traffic between subnets while also providing power to field devices like wireless access points, IP cameras, or VoIP phones.
